Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido recognized Sammy Montoya this week, at the Santa Ana City Council meeting, as this is the 60th anniversary of Montoya’s restaurant, La Chiquita.

Montoya attended the meeting with his family.  He gave credit to the founder of La Chiquita, which was deserved, but Montoya has continued the legacy of La Chiquita.  He is now growing their catering business.  I am proud to call him a friend.
