Santa Ana – Firefighters responded to the 1600 block of S. Evergreen Street for a fire in a two-story apartment at 9:38 this morning, according to the OC Fire Authority.

Crews found a well established fire on their arrival and initiated an attack on the blaze.

Firefighters confirmed everybody had made it out, and no injuries were reported – they also made sure all pets were removed from danger.

The cause is under investigation.

The Red Cross was requested to assist with the displaced family. A California Fire Foundation SAVE cash card was also issued to the family to provide help.

Assistance was provided at the scene by the SAPD.
