Fire at a Westminster strip center

OCFA firefighters fought a fire in a commercial building at 6332 Westminster Blvd., in Westminster, shortly after 5 a.m. this morning.

A second alarm was called to ensure a quick knockdown of the fire, which was hidden in void spaces, and to guard against high winds that could exacerbate the situation.

The firefighters successfully extinguished the fire in the affected units, and no injuries were reported.

The OCFA thanks their partners, the Westminster Police Department, Huntington Beach Fire Department, and Fountain Valley Fire Department for their help in battling this fire and keeping the public safe.
