SEN. LOU CORREA EARNS POWERFUL BOLD PAC ENDORSEMENT

Backing of Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ Fundraising Arm BOLD PAC Illustrates Correa’s Early Momentum in CA-46 Contest

SANTA ANA, CA— Injecting his campaign with a big boost of momentum, today former California State Senator Lou Correa secured a heavyweight endorsement from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ fundraising arm, the Building Our Leadership Diversity (BOLD) PAC, in his bid to represent California’s 46th District in Congress.

Today’s announcement follows an endorsement Correa received yesterday from Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez.

Upon receiving word of the BOLD PAC endorsement, former State Senator Lou Correa released the following statement:

“I am deeply honored to have received such a prestigious endorsement from the BOLD PAC this early on in my campaign. This organization symbolizes the increasing empowerment and clout of diverse communities in Washington. It also represents a significant milestone for our campaign and it validates my record of standing up for disadvantaged communities. I look forward to working with the BOLD PAC in the weeks and months ahead.”

Correa served in the California State Senate, representing the 34th District, from 2006- 2014 and served the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster. Prior to the Senate, he served on the Orange County Board of Supervisors representing the 1st District. Before his time on the Board, Correa served in the California State Assembly representing the 69th District.
