The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) has announced a Baker Fire Update at 9 am: 80% contained, estimated acres is 40, expected containment October 10, 1 barn damaged. There are 7 fire engines, 5 fire hand crews, 6 bulldozers, 2 excavators, 7 water tenders, with a total of 270 personnel on scene.

All residents are cleared to re-enter the area by 6 pm tonight.  Additional Information: Fire information is available at www.ocfa.org or at (714) 573-6200.  The OCFA also regularly updates their Facebook page.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury on Sunday, while battling this blaze, according to the OCFA’s Twitter feed.

Cooperating Agencies: CAL FIRE, USFS, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, American Red Cross, and OC Parks.
