Who killed Marcy Aguilar?

Anaheim, CA (December 3, 2024) – As the one-year mark approaches, Anaheim Police Department (APD) homicide detectives continue to investigate the January 2024 homicide of 49-year-old Anaheim resident Marcy Aguilar.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at approximately 3:17 a.m., Anaheim Police Dispatch received a report of a shooting in the 200 block of E. Wakefield Avenue. Responding Anaheim Police Officers and Anaheim Fire & Rescue personnel located Aguilar collapsed on the porch of an apartment. He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Aguilar was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, specific details cannot be released at this time. However, detectives believe there are additional witnesses with critical information that could assist in solving this case.
