A fire at an auto shop in Santa Ana was stopped before it could spread to other businesses

Just before 11:30 PM last night, Engine 78 arrived on-scene to an automotive shop engulfed in flames, according to the OCFA.

The fire was rapidly spreading and imminently threatening the adjacent units within the industrial strip center.

The shop that burned is California Auto Parts and Tire Service, located at 3625 W 1st St, in Santa Ana.

With two alarms actively fighting the blaze, the fire crews were able to contain it to the unit of origin, thus saving multiple businesses.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
