A teenager was injured when he was struck by a pickup truck on Monday, August 10, at about 8:10 p.m. near Orange and McFadden Avenues, in Santa Ana, according to the SAPD.

It is expected that the victim will recover. The victim appears to be about 16 years old. The SAPD did not identify the victim by name.

The driver of the light-blue Chevrolet pickup truck that hit the teen did not stay at the scene. The SAPD is considering this a hit and run incident.

This incident happened at the southwest corner of Pacific Electric Park.
