On Monday, April 3, at about 5 p.m., witnesses reporting a shooting in the area of 1600 South Cedar, in Santa Ana, according to SAPD Case #  17-08914.

The witnesses saw a male Hispanic suspect armed with a handgun fire three shots northbound at an occupied vehicle. The occupied vehicle fled the area and all parties were gone when police arrived.

This shooting happened just southwest of Madison Park in Santa Ana’s Ward 1, which is represented by Councilman Vince Sarmiento.
