A Santa Ana man was fatally shot in Garden Grove early this morning

A 30-year-old Santa Ana man was found dead in Garden Grove early today. He had been shot in the head.

Garden Grove police responded to the scene of a traffic collision at the 1400 block of Buena Street this morning at 1:39 a.m. When they arrived they did not see any evidence of a car crash but did find the victim lying in the street.

The police have not yet released the victim’s name as relatives have to be notified first.

The police have not yet released any information about motives or suspects.

The victim was found in a residential neighborhood just north of Westminster Ave.
