A man with a half pound of meth was arrested after a traffic stop in north Orange County

Last night, while on patrol, police officers made a car stop around the area of Placentia Avenue and La Jolla Street, according to the Placentia Police Department.

The driver was found to be in possession of over a half a pound of methamphetamine and several prescription pills.

The suspect, who had numerous convictions for drug sales, was arrested for various drug charges and transported to Orange County Jail.

One pound of meth is worth about $1400 – $2,000 on the street according to Recovered.
