An unidentified man was shot to death and another was critically stabbed Monday night, May 28, according to the O.C. Register.

The man who was shot to death was found by responding SAPD police officers just after 10:15 p.m. at Pomona and Sycamore streets, according to the SAPD. He had been wounded in the torso by gunfire. He later died at a local hospital.

Just a few blocks away from the shooting scene another unidentified man was found with multiple stab sounds, at Main Street and Warner Avenue. Police now believe that he had left the original crime scene. That man was also taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police investigators are still unsure if these incidents involved any gangbangers.
