Firefighters knocked down a house fire in the 2600 block of Ramona Drive in Santa Ana in just eight minutes after neighbors had called 911 at 5:30 p.m on Sunday night to report visible smoke, according to the OCFA.

Nobody was injured; however, unfortunately, a deceased dog was found during the search of the home.

The cause is under investigation.

The Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley Fire Departments provided assistance at this fire, and SoCal Red Cross is providing aid to the residents who have been displaced by the fire.
