An unresponsive adult male was found this morning, at about 7:14 a.m. in a pond at the 3400 Avenue Apartments in Costa Mesa.
Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue personnel determined that the man was deceased.
The Costa Mesa Police Department and the OC Sheriff-Coroner’s office do not believe this death to be suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
