An unidentified dead man was found near a water canal at Santa Ana’s Heritage Park today, at 3:30 p.m., according to the O.C. Register.
Heritage Park is located at 4800 block of West Camille Street, which is adjacent to Heritage Elementary School, which serves children from kindergarten through the sixth grade.
SAPD homicide detectives were investigating as of 6 p.m. this evening.
Heritage Park is located in Santa Ana’s Ward 6, which is represented by Councilman Sal Tinajero.
