Penalties for a first-time DUI

  • Fines: $390–$1,000, plus court costs, assessments, and other penalties
  • Jail time: Up to 6 months
  • Driver’s license suspension: Up to 10 months
  • DUI education: Mandatory outpatient alcohol awareness class

Penalties for a DUI with injury

  • Restitution: Actual restitution

A first-time DUI offense can be dismissed if the defendant pleads not guilty.
