March was yet another violent month in Santa Ana! Per the Santa Ana Police Dept, there were 21 reported shooting incidents and 1 stabbing incident in March. This has been an ongoing trend in our city that reminds many of us of the late 80’s and early 90’s when gang violence was out of control.
Sadly one of these shooting incidents took the life of a 15 year old named Isaac Gonzalez who was a promising boxer at our own TKO Boxing Club in Santa Ana. Unfortunately, it takes an incident like this where a young, innocent person’s life is taken for something positive to happen in our city!
Hopefully our new City Council will start addressing all these shooting incidents in our city!
