Over the weekend, a Westminster police officer was patrolling the area of Moran St. and Bolsa Ave. and observed a suspicious vehicle.

The officer contacted the occupants of the vehicle and noticed that the female passenger had several paraphernalia items on her lap in plain view.

The male driver consented to a vehicle search where a digital scale, approximately $1,000 in cash, 33 grams of meth, 9 grams of wax, and one gram of fentanyl were found.

Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
