On 09/10/2023 a victim posted a Pit Bull 3-month old puppy for sale on Craigslist and received a text message from a potential buyer. The victim agreed to meet the buyer in the area of 1400 S. Townsend Avenue for the transaction.
Once in possession of the puppy, the suspects fled on foot without paying the victim. The suspects continued running with the victim following. Suspect #2 pulled a black handgun from his sweatshirt pocket and pointed it in the victim’s direction. Upon seeing the gun, the victim came to a stop and raised his hands.
The Pit Bull 3-month old puppy is still outstanding and the estimated loss is approximately $400.00.
- Suspect #1 – Male, Hispanic, 18-25 years old, light skinned, 5’09” – 5’10” tall, 220-250 lbs., short black hair with a beard, wearing a black t-shirt and brown shorts.
- Suspect #2 – Male, Hispanic, 18-25 years old, 220-250 lbs., short black hair, wearing a gray t-shirt and sweatshirt with brown shorts.
