Today, Orange patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Chapman and State College. The unlicensed driver turned out to be on formal probation (PRCS) from L.A. County.

Their investigation revealed the probationer had a storage unit in the city of Cerritos. The patrol officers drove to Cerritos to continue their probation compliance check.

During a search of the unit, officers located golf clubs that contained a high school emblem. Officers contacted the school and learned a student recently had her car burglarized in a neighboring jurisdiction.

The probationer was arrested and booked at OCJ for possession of stolen property and drugs.

The officers were so happy to return the stolen golf clubs to the student!
