On Friday morning the OCFA responded to a call for an unresponsive patient in the flood control channel.
Our firefighter/paramedics stabilized the individual while other firefighters simultaneously prepared a hoist operation.
The victim was safely hoisted and taken to a local hospital.
The OCFA did not identify the victim by name.
