On Sept. 20, a surveillance camera captured a white Kia Optima and a male suspect involved in a residential burglary in the city of Dana Point. The loss at this residence was estimated to be $58,000 in jewelry.

It was later discovered that the white Kia Optima and three suspects were connected to two other residential burglaries in the city of Mission Viejo. In those incidents, the suspects forced their way into the homes and stole more than $360,000 in US currency and property.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s South Investigative Unit and Directed Enforcement Team (DET) diligently pursued numerous leads.

Due to their thorough investigation, on Oct. 4, the DET arrested Jackmaico Morenomape, 39, Jose Ballenrodriguez, 41, and Maria Pineedaamador, 49.

They were booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Investigators recovered the total estimated loss of more than $360,000 during the arrest.
