On June 22, two suspects, acting like the duo from “Team Rocket,” entered the Target on Jamboree Rd. and attempted to steal Pokemon cards and figurines to add to their collection, according to the Irvine Police Department.

This “gym” was more challenging than expected because they were intercepted by skilled trainers (aka security), and their stolen loot was recovered. It is believed these characters may be responsible for similar thefts at other Targets.

If you can help the police to “catch ‘em all” and become a legendary Pokemon trainer, Pikachu urges you to email mricci@irvinepd.org.
