Santa Ana Mayor Valerie Amezcua has been appointed to represent Orange County’s Second Supervisorial District on the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors.

Amezcua’s board term will begin on Jan. 1, 2024, and end on Dec. 31, 2025.

“I am proud and grateful to be selected to represent Santa Ana on the OCTA Board of Directors,” Mayor Amezcua said. “Santa Ana’s diverse community has the largest OCTA ridership among Orange County cities, and it is critical that we have a voice in the future of public transportation in our region.”
