Santa Ana gangbangers busted while walking around with guns tucked in their waistbands

Recently SAPD gang detectives came across several known gangbangers who were loitering in the area of 1100 S. Standard Ave.

The detectives approached the group and located a loaded firearm with an extended magazine in one of the suspect’s waistband.

The suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Ana jail for firearm and narcotic-related charges with gang enhancemnts.

Clearly these gangbangers are dumb as rocks! Who seriously walks around with a gun tucked in his waistband – while also in possession of illegal drugs?

Memo to our local gangbangers – don’t hang around in groups, in public, while carrying weapons and illegal drugs. It won’t end well for you!

But wait, there’s more…

Due to a recent homicide investigation, SAPD patrol officers conducted a foot patrol in the area of 1200 W. Brook St.

The officers contacted a known gang member who was on parole. In California, violating parole without a valid reason can result in parole revocation and up to one year in prison. If the parolee is accused of violating parole after committing another crime, they could face additional criminal charges and spend more time in jail.

Clearly this suspect was not an Einstein and he most certainly did not know what it means to be on parole, or care for that matter. The suspect was in possession of a loaded firearm in his waistband! These gangbangers must not be able to afford legit gun holsters.

The suspect was, of course, arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail on numerous firearm and gang-related charges.

Yet another convicted Santa Ana gangbanger that just can’t stop gangbanging… Well, he is off to prison again and will surely enjoy the awful prison food for at least another year.
