Santa Ana Councilman Phil Bacerra will Chair the OCFAs Board of Directors this year

The City of Santa Ana is proud to announce Councilmember Phil Bacerra’s appointment as Chair of the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) Board of Directors.

This is a significant appointment to oversee an essential public safety agency that provides fire and emergency services to Santa Ana, 22 other Orange County cities and unincorporated areas.

Councilmember Bacerra has served on the OCFA Board since 2023.

The OCFA Board is responsible for setting policies and overseeing the operations of the OCFA, including managing budget, making key decisions regarding fire services, and appointing leadership within the agency. The OCFA protects over 1.9 million residents from its 77 fire stations countywide and has a budget of over $600 million.
