OCFA firefighters knocked down a commercial structure fire at an auto parts store in the 1000 blk of E. 6th St. in Santa Ana in just 5 minutes early this morning.

The 911 call at 3:32 a.m. reported flames through the roof of the building.

No injuries were reported.

OCFA fire investigators were at the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

The area of the fire appears to include several storage yards including Bruce Metal and Salvage.

It is likely that the building that caught fire was not sprinklered as a sprinkler system would have prevented the flames from getting out of control.
