The Anaheim Police Dept. issued a warning about suspects who are engaged in crimes targeting primarily elderly victims. The suspects use sleight-of-hand and distraction techniques to steal high-end jewelry or watches.

  • SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2013 – 2018, Toyota RAV4 with an unknown license plate.
  • DRIVER: Described as a Middle Eastern man, approximately 50 years old, 5’10” tall, 210 pounds, and had a full beard.
  • PASSENGER: Described as a Middle Eastern woman, approximately 45 – 50 years old, 5’05” tall, and 150 pounds.

The Anaheim Police Dept. encourages you to stay aware of your surroundings and be cautious if a stranger approaches you and offers jewelry in an unsolicited manner.
