On Thursday, July 31, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., police officers responded to the 18000 block of Mora Kai regarding a family disturbance involving a suicidal subject.

Upon arrival, the police officers made contact with an individual, and an officer-involved shooting occurred.

No officers were injured during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details will be released at this time.

The identity and condition of the person who appears to have been shot by the police was not immediately known. What led to the shooting has also not been divulged by the police.

“Suicide by cop” (SbC) is a tragic and complex phenomenon in the U.S., and while it’s not always officially tracked, research provides some estimates:

  • Estimated Frequency: Between 10% and 29% of police shootings in the U.S. may involve individuals attempting to provoke officers into using lethal force.
  • Demographics: Most individuals involved are white males, often with a history of mental illnesssubstance abuse, or prior suicide attempts.
  • Weapons: About 17% of SbC cases involve fake or unloaded weapons.
  • Common Scenarios: These incidents often occur during:
    • Criminal activity where the person prefers death over arrest.
    • Domestic or mental health crises.
    • Planned confrontations with police.

Law enforcement agencies are increasingly training officers to recognize and de-escalate potential SbC situations to avoid unnecessary loss of life.

  1. If anybody wants to bail out on their own life, it’s up to each of themselves NOT the cops, NOT the doctors, NOT the church, NOT the social workers, NOT the therapists, NOT even the family or Best Friend. It’s only up to that victim only. I AIN’T gonna judge them & I don’t blame them for doing that. I’ll still pray for those victims to RIP. This is exactly what the Old Testament was warning me about long ago on what to expect & now I know on not to be surprised about. We’re going to see this kind of stuff uptick from here on out. Until the day we’re all gone, we’re all screwed one by one. Don’t believe me & you want proof? No problem, all you gotta do is look around you & see, How many more people do we need on this planet that have mental issues? How many more people do we need on this planet to be engaging domestic violence? How many more people do we need on this planet to commit meyham & unrest ?
It’s NONE, we don’t need anymore of that because people gotta stop having kids. More people, more problems, same crap, Just different suspects with different names & ages. Your local church won’t be straight up with you on these details. But I will! I’ll be thinking outside the box while everybody keeps thinking inside the church.
Wake up & repent while the time is ticking
