STATE SENATOR LOU SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2013 SENIORS MAKING A DIFFERENCE AWARD RECOGNITION BREAKFAST

Senator Lou Correa’s Senate Concurrent Resolution recognizes May as Senior Volunteer Month. In an effort to highlight the contributions of local senior citizens, Senator Lou Correa and Acacia Adult Day Health Services partner to honor community senior volunteers at the 2013 Seniors Making a Difference Awards Recognition Breakfast. The 2013 call for nominations is now open until the deadline of May 31, 2013 at 5:00 pm. 

 “Senior Citizens have knowledge, experience and skills that are vital to the community.” said Senator Correa. “It is my pleasure to recognize and honor these outstanding senior citizens who have dedicated their time and efforts for the betterment of the community.”

Nominees must be senior citizens of 55 years and older who volunteer their time and talents for the betterment of the community. To request a nomination form, please contact Quyen Tran quyen.tran@sen.ca.gov or Maggie Moreno maggie.moreno@sen.ca.gov or call our District Office at 714-558-4400.
