Buena Park police officers seized guns $75K and marijuana and arrested a suspect after a pursuit

On November 7th 2024, police officers attempted to stop a vehicle for vehicle code violations near the area of Beach Blvd and the 91 Freeway, according to the Buena Park Police Department.

As the police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield, and a vehicle pursuit ensued.

The pursuit traveled throughout several Orange County and Los Angeles County cities. The Buena Park Police Department handed the pursuit to CHP but the suspect was able to get away, near Downtown Los Angeles.

The Buena Park Police Department’s Community Impact Team assisted in the investigation and were able to successfully locate the suspect and his vehicle.

A search warrant was ultimately obtained for his residence which led to the discovery of several rifles, handguns, ammunition, and high capacity magazines.

A considerable amount of marijuana and over $75,000 in asset forfeiture that was seized as well.

The suspect’s vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

The suspect will likely be facing felony gun and narcotics charges. It is also highly unlikely that he will recover the $75,000 in cash that was seized by the police officers.
