Armed wanted L.A. County felon arrested in Westminster after driving recklessly

This past Friday at 10:45 a.m., police officers were made aware of a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Beach Boulevard and the 22 Freeway, according to the Westminster Police Department.

The vehicle was seen entering the parking lot of 13331 Beach Boulevard. The poilice fficers attempted to contact the driver who ran towards Beach Boulevard, but he was ultimately detained.

Prior to being detained the driver attempted to discard a loaded unserialized firearm.

A records check of the driver revealed he was on Los Angeles County probation for weapons charges.

The driver was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for multiple felonies including felon/addict in possession of firearm, felon in possession of ammunition (to name two of the 6 felony charges), in addition to misdemeanor charges and outstanding warrants.
