Last Thursday, an officer spotted a vehicle parked without license plates at a gas station near Red Hill and MacArthur, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The driver, who was on probation and in possession of a stolen gun, had a felony warrant for his arrest.

Officers found over five grams of fentanyl, prescription pills, and a large quantity of cash in his vehicle.

Thanh Tran, 38, was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail on numerous felony charges, including possessing narcotics for sale and carrying a loaded firearm.
