Armed felon arrested in Seal Beach

Police officers got another felon in possession of a firearm off the street, according to the Seal Beach Police Department.

Earlier this morning, the suspect, and his passenger were arrested after the suspect attempted to flee from the officers during a traffic stop. The police dubbed the suspect “Flatbill” due to his stiff baseball cap.

Why did the suspect run? Maybe because of the loaded AK-47 in his vehicle? Who knows?

The Seal Beach Police Department is just glad everyone made it home safe and our community and surrounding communities are a little safer.

The traffic strop was about 150 yards north of the Los Angeles County Line. Welcome to Orange County!
