On June 11th, OC Sheriff deputies from OCSD – Mission Viejo Police Services thought they were making a routine vehicle stop but it quickly turned into a game of cat and mouse.

As the deputies stepped out of their patrol units, the driver hit the gas and bolted from the scene.

The deputies wasted no time and called their partners at OCSD – San Juan Capistrano Police Services to ask them to keep an eye out for the car.

San Juan Capistrano Deputies later found the car but it was abandoned. While patrolling the city they noticed a female trying to slip away using a ride-share app.

Mission Viejo Deputies responded and discovered she had the key to the fleeing vehicle.

After a quick search, they found out she was wanted for multiple warrants, including a felony for narcotics trafficking. When deputies searched the vehicle, they found over a pound of methamphetamine stashed in the trunk.

The female was arrested for multiple warrants for her arrest and possession and transportation for sales of methamphetamine.
