Beloved family dog lost in Park Santiago Neighborhood

One of my neighbors in the Santa Ana’s Park Santiago Neighborhood sent me a note yesterday to let me know that his dog has been lost.  Below is his note.  Please keep an eye out for her!

Night time visitor

Other cats stop by and eat our cats food, and sometimes stray dogs.
We have caught a few opossums.
This is the first time we come up close and personal with a Raccoon.

Maybe the SA Zoo would want this wild animal?

Dog parks in Irvine and Costa Mesa are a huge success!

I visited Costa Mesa’s Bark Park on Saturday, this weekend, and also visited the Irvine Central Bark Park. My goal was to find out how these facilities work, and whether or not folks are using them. As my readers know, I am proposed turning the little-used Lawn Bolwing Center, in Santa Ana’s Santiago Park, into [...]

Santa Ana’s dog barking ordinance needs to be revised

Sometimes the squirrels fight back!
My dog really hates squirrels!  And this year we have had a lot of them in our neighborhood.
Today we received a letter from anonymous neighbor threatening to call the police because my dog barks.
How ridiculous.  My dog sleeps in the house at night.  He barks during the day, but usually only [...]
