The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 7 . Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Garfs Sports Bar, 3046 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, Closed: Feb. 7, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • El Pico De Gallo, 7051 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, Closed: Feb. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Feb. 6
  • Running Chicken, 5408 Walnut Ave., Suite I, Irvine, Closed: Jan. 30, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Feb. 1
  • Update: Tai Chi Cuisine at 5414 Walnut Ave., Suite A, Irvine, which was ordered closed Jan. 29 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Jan. 31.
  • Mi Puebla Mexican Grill, 3070 W. Lincoln Ave., Suite D, Anaheim, Closed: Feb. 4, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit, Reopened: Feb. 4
