After an extensive investigation, SAPD Homicide Detectives believe an incident that happened on Thursday, May 2, at 4:27 p.m., at a business unit at the 1200 block of E. Chestnut Avenue, was a murder-suicide, according to the SAPD.

On Thursday, May 2, 2024, Santa Ana Police Department Communications received a call from a female who reported that her boyfriend stabbed her and her uncle. Inside the business unit, officers located and recovered a firearm and edged weapons related to the crime.

Officers responded to and located a female adult and two male adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their upper torso. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics arrived and pronounced the female and one of the males deceased. The surviving male was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The Orange County Coroner’s Office identified the female victim as Jordan Block (25) (pictured above) and the male victim as Brian Xan Martin (64), both from Santa Ana.

The suspect, Cameron Delani Clark, (pictured above) a 25-year old Santa Ana resident, suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital on May 5, 2024.

Clark described himself as a “Gamer on YouTube” in his Facebook page.

The police have not yet revealed what may have prompted Clark to kill his girlfriend and Martin.

Jordan’s father posted on Facebook that Martin was a longtime family friend who Jordan looked up to as an “uncle.”

Jordan’s father has also started a GoFundMe page to raise money to pay for Jordan’s cremation and for grief counseling for her family. They have already raised over $10K!

The case remains under investigation as detectives continue to determine the motive behind the homicides. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call SAPD Homicide Section detectives at (714) 245-8390 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
