On September 24, 2025, O.C. Sheriff deputies received a report of a burglary at a local hotel room, according to Laguna Hills Police Services.

The suspects had used utilities, vandalized the room, and fled the scene without paying.

Given the close proximity to their city, Laguna Hills deputies remained alert. Thanks to proactive police work and strong teamwork with Lake Forest Police Services, both suspects were located in Laguna Hills the very next day, September 25, 2025. They were then taken into custody.

This is another strong example of the O.C. Sheriff deputies’ commitment to serving the community, working collaboratively with neighboring jurisdictions, holding offenders accountable, and keeping Laguna Hills safe.
