California YMCA Youth & Government Santa Ana YMCA Delegation 63rd Model Legislature/Court would like to cordially invite you to the YMCA’s Annual Bill Night, on Wednesday, December 1st, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

City of Santa Ana’s Council Chambers, located at 22 Civic Center Plaza, in Santa Ana.

The YMCA Youth and Government Program is committed to preparing our young adults to become the next generation of leaders in business, politics, education and community activism. Youth participants discuss issues facing California, as well as ways to implement solutions through legislative and judicial process.

Bill Night is a hand-on learning experience where participants have the opportunity to promote a bill that they are passionate about. They will present to a panel of local community members who will select the most debatable bill to carry on to a five-day government experience in Sacramento. There students will role play as elected officials and take over the historic halls and chambers of the State Capitol and Supreme Court. The YMCA is the only non-profit organization that is able to take over the Capital and debate on the Assembly and Senate Floors.

For more information or if you would like to RSVP, please contact Roman Reyna at the YMCA (714) 865-9118 or rreyna@ymcaoc.net.
