Spectrum Officers stopped a vehicle on Saturday after observing traffic violations. The driver came to a slow stop and appeared to be hiding something, according to the Irvine Police Department.
The police officers determined the driver stashed a loaded gun and narcotics before pulling over.
Mathew Van, 19, of Santa Ana, was unable to enjoy a visit to the beautiful Spectrum because he was arrested for multiple felony charges and booked at Orange County Jail.
