Santa Ana Power Outage on March 24, 2015

Power is out along 17th Street, from Lincoln to Tustin Avenues, according to the Santa Ana Police Department, as reported by the O.C. Register.

Apparently a transformer blew up, causing the interruption in power.  The street lights in the area have been affected by this outage.

Southern California Edison has noted this on their outage website.  They are reporting that power will be restored by 11:15 pm tonight.

Traffic is being directed by the SAPD.

The reason for the transformer problem is unknown.
