Free health fair in Santa Ana on Oct. 9

Join the Tzu Chi Orange County Community Health Fair on Sunday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 950 W. Highland. This event is open to everyone, both kids and adults.

The following services will be offered for free:

• medical consultations,
• prescriptions,
• acupuncture and
• dental appointments (cleanings, fillings & extractions)

Dental services are through appointment only. Call 714.543.5540 Ext. 317 @ Lupita. This is a great resource, especially for adults since dental appointments can be expensive if patients don’t have insurance. 

Park at Lowell Elementary School. Do not save a spot in line for anyone. You have to be in line to receive an entry number.

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
