A possibly fatal car accident occurred in Santa Ana early this morning resulting in the closure of lanes at 17th and Tustin.

The accident appeared to involve two vehicles. One of them was flipped over as a result of the collision.

The SAPD has yet to issue a press release.

One of our readers had to go through the Albertsons parking lot at that corner and come out onto Tustin and drive down to Fourth Street to get on the 55 Freeway.

One of the driver’s family members found out about the accident via our Facebook page. Apparently the police have not yet revealed any details to them.

The drver’s family asks that we put the word out that witnesses are needed to come forward. You may call the SAPD at (714) 245-8049.
