Last week the Westminster Police Department responded to a possible residential burglary in progress at a home that was being fumigated.

The neighbor observed the suspect entering the fumigated house. Officers arrived within 3 minutes and set up a perimeter around the neighborhood.

The officers caught the suspect as he was exiting the home with stolen items in bags and arrested him.

The suspect was a wanted parolee who had previously been arrested 15 times by the Westminster Police Department in the past.

The Westminster Police Department appreciates the neighbor that made a keen observation and called them immediately.
