SAPD vehicle involved in a collision at Warner and Grand

An SAPD police officer was involved in a significant colllision involving six vehicles that happened this morning at about 7 a.m. at the instersection of E. Warner and Grand Ave., according to the SAPD.

That instersection was closed for several hours as the SAPD conducted an investigation.

The video posted by the SAPD shows that the SAPD SUV involved in the collision was struck from behind but also had front-end damage on the right quarter panel indicating that perhaps they were caught in a chain reaction accident.
