On Tuesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, CA asked the Irvine Police Department to look for a stolen vehicle tracking near Harvard and Michelson.

Irvine police officers quickly found the car in a residential community. A short time later, a bike theft occurred in the same community.

An officer spotted a man riding the stolen bike a few blocks away. When he was stopped, he was wearing shoes that belonged to the owner of the stolen vehicle.

The man was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for two felony warrants, petty theft, and narcotics charges.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is asking the District Attorney’s Office to consider stolen vehicle charges based on the circumstances.
