On 5-23-2019, at approximately 7:30 pm, the victim picked up her ex-husband, Alexander Diaz, in the City of Santa Ana. While the victim was driving, Diaz choked the victim two times causing visible injury. During the assault, the victim loss consciousness momentarily causing the vehicle to come to a stop in the middle of traffic. Suspect Diaz is also being investigated by SAPD for a separate domestic violence assault against the same victim, according to the SAPD.

Diaz is a transient and known to visit his sister’s residence in the 1600 block of West Civic Center Drive, He frequents the area of Walnut St / Daisy St in Santa Ana and Garden Grove Blvd / Haster St in Garden Grove.

Additionally, Diaz currently has a $40,000 outstanding warrant for Possession of Stolen Property, Auto Theft, Obstruction Of Police Officer, and Narcotics Violations.
