Santa Ana Police Detectives have arrested a 19-year-old male suspect for a fatal shooting that occurred on June 30, 2024.
After an extensive investigation of the shooting, Homicide Detectives identified the suspect as Adrain Lopez (19) of Santa Ana.
On Thursday, July 11, 2024, Adrain was arrested near his home. Detectives served multiple search warrants, which yielded additional evidence in the case, including the firearm used in the crime.
In concurrence with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Adrain was charged with PC 187(a) – Murder and booked at the Santa Ana Jail.
