The Santa Ana Water Resources Team maintains over 479 miles of water mains and 400 miles of sewer mains with 48,000 sewer laterals and 8,000 manholes. Last year, 32,716 acre-feet of water were served to the Santa Ana community. The water has received medal recognition since 2011 for being among the best-tasting water in the United States.

During National Public Works Week May 17-23, the City of Santa Ana recognizes the City’s Water Resources Division for their commitment in ensuring the continuous delivery of our award-winning water, a vital resource to everyone in the community.

The City of Santa Ana has 21 wells, seven reservoirs and pump stations, and an elevated tank that has been in operation since 1928 with a 1 million gallon-capacity. The Water Resources Team meets the challenges of conservation, environmental compliance, sustainability and community education while serving the needs of all our water users. The division promotes conservation and sustainability through community outreach and events, school programs, landscaping workshops and a rebate program.

Sewer systems are essential to protecting public health and the environment. The Sewer Services Team cleans annually 1,111,867 linear feet of sewer mains and repairs 105 sewer laterals.

Galardonados Servicios de Agua de Santa Ana

El Equipo de Recursos Hídricos de Santa Ana mantiene más de 479 millas de tuberías de agua y 400 millas de tuberías de alcantarillado con 48,000 laterales de alcantarillado y 8,000 hoyos de registro. El año pasado se sirvieron 32,716 acres-pie de agua a la comunidad de Santa Ana. El agua ha recibido reconocimiento de medallas desde el 2011 por estar entre las aguas de mejor sabor en los Estados Unidos.

Durante la Semana Nacional de Obras Públicas del 17 al 23 de mayo de 2020, la Ciudad de Santa Ana reconoce la División Agua de Recursos Hídricos de Santa Ana por su compromiso para garantizar la provisión continua de nuestra galardonada agua, un recurso vital para todos en la comunidad.

La Ciudad de Santa Ana tiene 21 pozos, siete depósitos y estaciones de bombeo, y un tanque elevado que ha estado en funcionamiento desde 1928, con una capacidad de 1 millón de galones. El Equipo de Recursos Hídricos cumple con los desafíos de conservación, cumplimiento ambiental, sostenibilidad y educación comunitaria, al mismo tiempo que satisface las necesidades de todos nuestros usuarios de agua.
